Gingerbread Houses

Boy! Our family sure has its fair share of traditions! I like it that way. There are too many out there who could care less about what they did for this special season of Christmas. Not us. One thing we kids always do is make gingerbread houses with Nana and DeDad. We love this and have such a good time.

The Champion!

Joshua has done a fabulous job racing karts this year, and we are so proud of him!
He was in the Clone class, and won the points championship for that class.
GSKA,(Georgia Sprint Karting Association) had a banquet and award ceremony last night. We attended and that is where Josh recieved his big trophy.
We are looking forward to what next season will bring!

O! Christmas Tree

It is a family tradition to go over to Nana and DeDad's house and help them decorate their tree. We all love doing this!! And of course, there is always hot apple cider waiting for us there. Another tradition is playing the song "Christmas in Dixie" while we put the angel on top. It was Makayla's turn this year.
Enjoy the pictures!!

Learner's Permit

Well folks, Joshua got his permit today. Everybody on the road needs to look out!!
Nah, he's actually doing pretty well. He has already driven around Good Hope quite a bit. He absolutely loves driving!
I wonder why? :) I reckon driving and racing are just in his blood.

Helicopter Field Trip

On Monday we took a field trip to an army helicopter base. Mr. Sutton was the one leading the field trip and he did a great job.

We had a tour of two helicopters.
The first helicopter was called "Iroquois"
And the second one was called "Blackhawk"

The Black Hawk was the biggest one. It could seat 15 and it had 4 propellers on top of it.

Here are 3 photos of the field trip.

Kart Racing

I had a bunch of problems yesterday with my kart.

First off, I had smoke coming from my engine while I was on the track. I couldn't see it since my engine is behind me so I just kept going until someone told me to come of the track, so I did and I found out that there was too much oil in the engine so I went down some ounces and it worked out. I went back on the track and it did great.

Second, I was not as fast as the leader, so I wanted to change the jet. So I finally changed it before the last race and it was a wrong move. It slowed me down a lot.

And the final problem, It's not fun losing to a girl. :(

Oh well, It was a learning day and I still had fun.

Here is a short little video of me practicing yesterday.

We are a family of six and we love each other vey much.

Here are our names-

Donny (He is Our Daddy and he is 42 years old.)

Cathy (She is our Beautiful Mommy and she is 37 years old.)

Jessica (She is my older sister and she is 17 years old.)

Joshua (This is me and I am 14 years Old.)

Coley (This is my younger brother and he is 9 years old.)

Makayla (This is my younger sister and she is 5 years old.)

We live on a dirt road in a small town in Georgia called Good Hope, Good Hope is a small town right outside of Monroe.

We have been living here for 3 years now and we love this town very much.

Our Lord has blessed our family in so many different ways.

First off, He blessed us with such a great family.

Second, He has blessed us with a great house to live in.

Thirdly, He has blessed us with a great Church to go to. It is a Family based church and our Pastor is the best pastor in the world. He loves us so much and cares for us.
I don't know many pastors that would do that.

There are to many things to list that he has blessed us with so I'll just list those.

Well, We have to go to bed now.

Have a blessed weekend,
The Warren's
